The Programme

Bred to protection standard, from the ground up

The Vonceltic breeding programme exists because the quality of a protection dog begins long before any training session. Temperament, drive, nerve strength, and working ability are substantially determined by breeding, and breeding to the right standard requires the same level of knowledge and discipline that professional training demands.


Ken is a licensed German Shepherd breeder operating under the registered Kennel Club kennel name Vonceltic. Six German Shepherds of the Vonceltic line are currently under active training and development; working dogs bred and assessed against protection dog criteria from the outset.


Three Kennel Club registered Vonceltic littermates have been placed with respected individuals across the United Kingdom. Each placement is a considered decision: Vonceltic places dogs only with owners who are equipped to maintain them to the required standard.

Ken is a licensed German Shepherd Dog breeder, operating legally and to the standards required by UK breeding legislation. Licensing is not voluntary for breeders at this level. It involves inspection of facilities, welfare standards, and record-keeping. Every Vonceltic dog is bred and raised in a licensed, inspected environment.

The Vonceltic kennel name is registered with the Kennel Club. Littermates placed under this name carry full Kennel Club registration: pedigree documentation, lineage traceability, and breed-standard verification. For buyers who understand the protection dog market, KC registration from a working-dog kennel is a meaningful credential, not a formality.

The defining characteristic of the Vonceltic bloodline programme is continuity. The dogs are bred by Ken. They are trained by Ken. Their maintenance, their assessment, their ongoing development, all under the same hands, to the same standard, throughout. At Vonceltic, the chain is unbroken.
Training Facility
Operational Training Field
An operational training field is already in active use. The Vonceltic dogs are worked there regularly, not in a hired facility, not on a shared ground, but on Vonceltic's own operational base. Clients who require a neutral training venue, or who wish to observe a training session before committing to a programme, have access to a credentialed, active facility.
