Credentials

International Certification
AVD Certified: Germany
An internationally respected qualification in protection dog work, recognised across the European security and working dog community. This certification is not obtainable in the United Kingdom. Ken sat and passed the assessment in Germany. It is on his record because he earned it there.
UK Qualification
NASDU Level 2: Security Dog Handler
The National Association of Security Dog Users Level 2 is the recognised UK standard for professional security dog handling. It covers handling procedures, operational deployment, and the management of security dogs in a working context. Ken holds this qualification alongside the AVD certification. Both active, both current.
Specialist Role
Trained Decoy: Bite and Protection Work
Ken works as a trained decoy for bite and protection work. To do that well, you need to understand a dog under pressure from the other side: how it reads movement, how it commits, where its drive is coming from. That knowledge shapes the way Ken trains and assesses every dog he works with.
Regulatory Licence
Current SIA Licence
Ken holds a current licence issued by the Security Industry Authority, the body that regulates the private security industry in the United Kingdom. All commercial security work is conducted under this licence. Licence status can be verified directly with the SIA at any time.
Welsh ABA Licence
Amateur Boxing Coach
Ken is a retired amateur boxer. He holds a Welsh ABA coaching licence and coaches at the gym run by his own former boxing coach, working with people of all ages. It has nothing to do with the security industry. It is how Ken gives back to the sport and the community that shaped him.

Three decades in the security industry

Ken has worked in the security industry for over thirty years, accumulating operational experience across close protection, dog handling, security management, and specialist training delivery. That body of work is the foundation on which Vonceltic Security stands.

A consistent principle has guided that work: a dog and its handler are only as effective as the training they receive, and the environment in which that training takes place. A protection dog trained where it lives, where it patrols, where its principals move. That is a dog performing to its capability.

Thirty years of operational security work has produced that conclusion. It is why Vonceltic is built around the home visit.

Fully equipped and operational

Vonceltic operates from a fully equipped base. The Vonceltic Security van carries full branded livery and is equipped with professional-grade bite suits, protection sleeves, and all specialist training equipment required for maintenance and advancement sessions. Nothing is improvised. Nothing is borrowed.

An operational training field is already in active use, not a planned facility but a working environment currently used with Vonceltic's own dogs. Clients who require a neutral training location, in addition to or instead of their own property, have a credentialed option available.

The equipment, the vehicle, the training field. Ken works at this level full time. These are not additions to the service. They are the service.
